Article 4. Whether our atmosphere is the demons' place of punishment?

Objection 1. It would seem that this atmosphere is not the demons' place of punishment. For a demon is a spiritual nature. But a spiritual nature is not affected by place. Therefore there is no place of punishment for demons.

Objection 2. Further, man's sin is not graver than the demons'. But man's place of punishment is hell. Much more, therefore, is it the demons' place of punishment; and consequently not the darksome atmosphere.

Objection 3. Further, the demons are punished with the pain of fire. But there is no fire in the darksome atmosphere. Therefore the darksome atmosphere is not the place of punishment for the demons.

On the contrary, Augustine says (Gen. ad lit. iii, 10), that "the darksome atmosphere is as a prison to the demons until the judgment day."

I answer that, The angels in their own nature stand midway between God and men. Now the order of Divine providence so disposes, that it procures the welfare of the inferior orders through the superior. But man's welfare is disposed by Divine providence in two ways: first of all, directly, when a man is brought unto good and withheld from evil; and this is fittingly done through the good angels. In another way, indirectly, as when anyone assailed is exercised by fighting against opposition. It was fitting for this procuring of man's welfare to be brought about through the wicked spirits, lest they should cease to be of service in the natural order. Consequently a twofold place of punishment is due to the demons: one, by reason of their sin, and this is hell; and another, in order that they may tempt men, and thus the darksome atmosphere is their due place of punishment.

Now the procuring of men's salvation is prolonged even to the judgment day: consequently, the ministry of the angels and wrestling with demons endure until then. Hence until then the good angels are sent to us here; and the demons are in this dark atmosphere for our trial: although some of them are even now in hell, to torment those whom they have led astray; just as some of the good angels are with the holy souls in heaven. But after the judgment day all the wicked, both men and angels, will be in hell, and the good in heaven.

Reply to Objection 1. A place is not penal to angel or soul as if affecting the nature by changing it, but as affecting the will by saddening it: because the angel or the soul apprehends that it is in a place not agreeable to its will.

Reply to Objection 2. One soul is not set over another in the order of nature, as the demons are over men in the order of nature; consequently there is no parallel.

Reply to Objection 3. Some have maintained that the pain of sense for demons and souls is postponed until the judgment day: and that the beatitude of the saints is likewise postponed until the judgment day. But this is erroneous, and contrary to the teaching of the Apostle (2 Corinthians 5:1): "If our earthly house of this habitation be dissolved, we have a house in heaven." Others, again, while not admitting the same of souls, admit it as to demons. But it is better to say that the same judgment is passed upon wicked souls and wicked angels, even as on good souls and good angels.

Consequently, it must be said that, although a heavenly place belongs to the glory of the angels, yet their glory is not lessened by their coming to us, for they consider that place to be their own; in the same way as we say that the bishop's honor is not lessened while he is not actually sitting on his throne. In like manner it must be said, that although the demons are not actually bound within the fire of hell while they are in this dark atmosphere, nevertheless their punishment is none the less; because they know that such confinement is their due. Hence it is said in a gloss upon James 3:6: "They carry fire of hell with them wherever they go." Nor is this contrary to what is said (Luke 8:31), "They besought the Lord not to cast them into the abyss"; for they asked for this, deeming it to be a punishment for them to be cast out of a place where they could injure men. Hence it is stated, "They [Vulg. 'He'] besought Him that He would not expel them [Vulg. 'him'] out of the country" (Mark 5:10).

Three Days Of Darkness Caused By The Visible Manifestation Of Trillions Of Demons In The Darksome Atmosphere Blotting Out The Sun For Three Days

The air shall be infected by demons, who will appear under all sorts of hideous forms. Blessed Anna Maria Taigi (d. 1837)

Three days of darkness. What causes this darkness?

The visible manifestation of trillions upon trillions of Demons in the darksome Atmosphere - blocking out the sun light and moon light.

According to Catholic Doctrine the demons reside in our lower atmosphere - above 29,050ft - commercial aircraft have a cruising altitude of 35,000ft.

“When the Angels had sinned, and for their transgression were expelled the heavenly abodes; a large part of them were thrust ‘ into hell, called the abyss, and confined there: others of them were suffered to dwell near the moon, and in the region of the air, below the moon, and near our earth.” Eusebius of Caesarea

Our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against Principalities and Powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. Ephesians 6:12

One reason that God punishes man with the Three days of Darkness is because of our foolishness in flying 24/7 in the habitat of demons or above 29,050ft.

It is established by the Church that demons do reside in our lower atmosphere. We just tend to ignore that fact.

Because modern man denies the reality of the habitat of demons, man will be punished.

Punished with three days of darkness caused by the visible manifestation of trillions upon trillions of demons of the darksome atmosphere.

Now for the Three Days of Darkness Prophecy

Blessed Anna Maria Taigi (d. 1837)

a. "God will decree two afflictions. One will originate on earth, namely; wars, revolutions and other evils. The other judgment comes from the air.

b. "A very thick darkness shall envelop the earth during three days. This awful darkness shall be impregnated with such pestilential vapors, and filled with such frightful apparitions, that they will cause, in a more special manner, the death of the hypocritical or avowed enemies of the Holy Church.

c. "On this terrible occasion so many of these wicked men, enemies of his Church and of their God, shall be killed by this divine scourge, that their corpses round Rome will be as numerous as the fish which a (then) recent inundation of Tiber had carried into the city. All the enemies of the Church, secret as well as known, will perish over the whole earth during* that universal darkness, with the exception of some few, whom God will soon after convert. The air shall be infested by demons, who will appear under all sorts of hideous forms.

d. "During this darkness artificial light will be impossible. Only blessed candles can be lighted and will afford illumination. He who out of curiosity opens his window to look out or leaves his house will fall dead on the spot. During these three days the people should remain in their homes, pray the Rosary and beg God for mercy.

e. "A heavenly apparition shall come to reassure the faithful. St. Peter and St. Paul will appear on the clouds, and all men shall see them ; and, in a supernatural manner, faith shall return to their hearts. Innumerable conversions of heretics shall cause universal edification.

f. "One day, Anna Maria, while shedding a torrent of tears, prayed and offered her actions and sufferings for the conversion of sinners, for the destruction of sin, and that God might be known and loved by all men. Then God manifested to her the horrible sins of persons of every condition, and how grievously he was offended. At this sight the servant of God experienced a profound sorrow, and sighing, she exclaimed : 'Dearly beloved ! what is the remedy for this disaster?' Jesus Christ answered: 'My child, the Church, my spouse, my Father, and myself shall remedy everything. For after a punishment . . . those who shall survive shall have to conduct themselves well/ At this point she saw innumerable conversions of heretics, who will return to the bosom of the Church ; she saw, also, the edifying conduct of their lives, as well as that of all other Catholics.

g. "During several successive days, Anna Maria beheld a most excessive darkness spreading itself over the whole world. She likewise saw falling ruins of walls, accompanied by much dust, as if a great edifice had tumbled down. This scourge was shown to her on divers occasions. This may indicate the ruins caused by frightful earthquakes, or the destruction effected by the wicked Communists. We presume, and assume as pretty certain, that this darkness will be sensible, similar to that of Egypt, mentioned in Exodus, tenth chapter, and that it shall continue during three days.

h. "Religious shall be persecuted, priests shall be massacred, the churches shall be closed, but only for a short time ; the Holy Father shall be obliged to abandon Rome.

i. "Our Lord said to her : 'First five big trees must be cut down in order that the triumph of the Church may come. These five trees are five great heresies/ Then the Servant of God said: Two hundred years are hardly sufficient that all of this may happen/ And Our Lord replied: It won't take as long as you think!'

j. "First, several EARTHLY scourges will come. They are going to be dreadful, but they will be mitigated and shortened by the prayers and penances of many holy souls. There will be great wars in which millions of people will perish through iron. But, after these earthly scourges will come the HEAVENLY one, which will be directed solely against the impenitent. This scourge will be far more frightful and terrible; it will be mitigated by nothing, but it will take place and act in its full rigor. However, in what this heavenly scourge will consist, God did not reveal to anyone, not even His most intimate friends." .

But understand this: there will be terrifying times in the last days.People will be self-centered and lovers of money, proud, haughty, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, irreligious, callous, implacable, slanderous, licentious, brutal, hating what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, as they make a pretense of religion but deny its power. Jan C. Harzan, Executive Director For The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), Was Arrested For Child Solicitation

MUFON cover for a pedophile network?

Jan C. Harzan, executive director for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), was arrested July 3rd by the Huntington Beach Police Department's Special Enforcement Bureau on multiple felonies involving child solicitation. According to a statement made on the department’s Facebook page, In the past two weeks, detectives from the Huntington Beach Police Department's Special Enforcement Bureau have arrested two suspects on two separate incidents involving online crimes against children. On July 3, detectives contacted a male by the name of Jan Harzan after Harzan solicited sexual activity from a detective he believed was a 13 year old girl. The suspect solicited the minor to meet for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity, and when the suspect agreed to meet the supposed minor, detectives were there to take him into custody. On July 8, detectives contacted a different male by the name of Norman Powers after Powers also solicited sexual activity from the detective posing as a 13 year old, and also arranged to meet for the purpose of sexual activity. Once he arranged a meet, detectives contacted him and determined he was there to engage in sexual activity with a minor. Both Harzan and Powers were arrested for multiple felonies and transported to the Huntington Beach Jail. Both of the suspects in these cases were specifically targeting minor females online."

Here read from St. Thomas Aquinas on where Demons reside...

Mayday! Aircraft Door Blown Off In Flight

China Airlines A330 Nearly Runs Off Runway After Three Computer Systems Lost Power Simultaneously

China Airlines A330 nearly runs off runway after three computer systems lost power simultaneously

The pilots of a China Airlines Airbus A330 had to switch to manual braking during a landing in Taipei because three computer systems lost power simultaneously, reports said Friday (July 3). As a result, the plane came to a halt just 9 meters from the end of the runway at Taipei Songshan Airport, according to CNA. The aircraft was landing during rainy weather at the end of a flight from Shanghai’s Pudong when the thrust reverser, automatic braking, and speed-brake panel systems all failed to work. A pilot noticed the anomaly and took manual control of the airplane. After it came to a stop, the crew requested assistance from a truck to tow the plane away. As a result of the incident, the authorities are now asking Airbus A330 pilots to consider the possibility of manual landing, in the event of rain or humid weather at their destination. If the airport does not allow sufficient distance for manual landing, the pilot should consider finding an alternative airport. An investigation into the Songshan Airport incident is still continuing, CNA reported. CAL flies 23 A330-300 planes, while rival EVA Air has six of the same model. None of the more than 80 passengers on board were injured. Source

"I don’t know a person that did not like my husband. He just had an infectious personality. Always wanted to take care of everybody else."

Pilot committed suicide?

Eyewitness accounts

Witnesses told KREM-TV they saw the two airplanes flying towards each other and colliding in mid-air, then plunging a few hundred feet into the lake. "It was a cracking nose – a loud crack," said Grant Marchant, who said he saw one of the planes falling from the sky. Angie Bishop told the station she saw a "big eruption of flames." "You could just see debris falling with it and you can tell it was obviously an airplane in the sky. But it fell to the ground and a huge loud noise followed it," she said. "t was pretty terrifying. We were all standing at the beach watching it and completely shocked at what we saw." Source

"All of a sudden out of nowhere, a huge, big eruption of flames. It's like a full fire ball flame in the sky," Angie Bishop told KREM, describing the scene. "And my friend and I are just standing there you could just see debris falling with it and you can tell it was obviously an airplane in the sky. But it fell to the ground and a huge loud noise followed it." Source

"So I was just pulling off the dock, was just riding the Jet ski and then all of a sudden heard like a high-pitched sound of an airplane and I looked up and saw the explosion," Pierce said. "It was definitely two airplanes. It wasn't necessarily an immediate explosion. It was more of like a clipping if you will, you know both airplanes kind of running into each other and then followed by an explosion after that. And then I rushed out there and saw it."  Source

"You're Gonna Die Up There" Eight Die After Two Planes Collided Over Coeur d’Alene Lake In Idaho.

Eight people are believed to be dead after two planes collided over Coeur d’Alene Lake in Idaho.

Authorities said they believe there were eight passengers and crew aboard two planes that collided Sunday over Lake Coeur d’Alene. Officials said it was likely that no one survived.

Witnesses said they saw two planes colliding above the water, then crashing into the lake near Powderhorn Bay, according to a news release from the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office. The crash took place about 2:20 p.m.

Officials said they believed a total of eight passengers and crew were on the two planes, but that was still being verified. Two bodies had been recovered as of Sunday night, said Lt. Ryan Higgins with the sheriff’s office.

Multiple local agencies, including the sheriff’s marine teams, local fire departments and the United States Coast Guard, responded to the crash, the newspaper reported.

John Cowles told The Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Washington, that he was on the lake with his family at the time of the crash. Cowles said he saw what appeared to be an “engine explosion” on a seaplane flying no more than 200 feet overhead. One of the plane’s wings then separated, and the plane fell into the water. Source
