Heart Attack In The Habitat Of Demons: Fatal Crew Member Heart Attack Prompts Gulf Air Diversion To Iraq
The darksome atmosphere is as a prison to the demons until the judgment day. They carry fire of hell with them wherever they go. The devils besought the Lord not to cast them into the abyss; for they asked for this, deeming it to be a punishment for them to be cast out of a place where they could injure men. Hence it is stated,They besought Him that He would not expel them out of the country. St Thomas Aquinas

Fatal Crew Member Heart Attack Prompts Gulf Air Diversion To Iraq
On Tuesday, November 22nd, a Gulf Air Airbus A321 made an emergency diversion in flight after a crew member suffered a heart attack. The flight was scheduled to fly from Bahrain International Airport (BAH) to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). After the crew member suffered a heart attack, the flight made an emergency diversion to Iraq's Erbil International Airport (EBL). Upon landing at EBL, the crew member was rushed to the local hospital. Unfortunately, the crew member was declared dead by Erbil's medical services shortly afterward.
Diverted flight
Flight GF19 to CDG departed BAH at approximately 22:22 UTC on November 21st. Roughly two hours later, around 00:27 UTC, the airplane turned sharply to the southeast towards EBL. At this point, the aircraft was just south of the crossroads connecting Iraq, Syria, and Turkey. The airliner landed safely on runway 36 at EBL, and no other injuries were reported. After the crew members was taken by local medical personnel, the airplane departed to finish its route.
The flight departed EBL at 03:37 UTC and landed at CDG at 09:05 UTC. The aircraft has since flown back to BAH and returned to CDG as it has been scheduled to continue operating flight GF19 until tomorrow November 24th, when it will be assigned to a new route. The airline has expressed its sympathies to the crew member's family. The company released a statement concerning the tragic event, which reads, "The national carrier expresses its deepest condolences to the crew member's family and loved ones and confirms that the flight resumed to Paris as scheduled."Gulf Air reassures that the safety of its passengers and crew comes at the top of its priorities, and thanks the affected flight's passengers for their patience and understanding," Source
Article 4. Whether our atmosphere is the demons' place of punishment?
Objection 1. It would seem that this atmosphere is not the demons' place of punishment. For a demon is a spiritual nature. But a spiritual nature is not affected by place. Therefore there is no place of punishment for demons.
Objection 2. Further, man's sin is not graver than the demons'. But man's place of punishment is hell. Much more, therefore, is it the demons' place of punishment; and consequently not the darksome atmosphere.
Objection 3. Further, the demons are punished with the pain of fire. But there is no fire in the darksome atmosphere. Therefore the darksome atmosphere is not the place of punishment for the demons.
On the contrary, Augustine says (Gen. ad lit. iii, 10), that "the darksome atmosphere is as a prison to the demons until the judgment day."
I answer that, The angels in their own nature stand midway between God and men. Now the order of Divine providence so disposes, that it procures the welfare of the inferior orders through the superior. But man's welfare is disposed by Divine providence in two ways: first of all, directly, when a man is brought unto good and withheld from evil; and this is fittingly done through the good angels. In another way, indirectly, as when anyone assailed is exercised by fighting against opposition. It was fitting for this procuring of man's welfare to be brought about through the wicked spirits, lest they should cease to be of service in the natural order. Consequently a twofold place of punishment is due to the demons: one, by reason of their sin, and this is hell; and another, in order that they may tempt men, and thus the darksome atmosphere is their due place of punishment.
Now the procuring of men's salvation is prolonged even to the judgment day: consequently, the ministry of the angels and wrestling with demons endure until then. Hence until then the good angels are sent to us here; and the demons are in this dark atmosphere for our trial: although some of them are even now in hell, to torment those whom they have led astray; just as some of the good angels are with the holy souls in heaven. But after the judgment day all the wicked, both men and angels, will be in hell, and the good in heaven.
Reply to Objection 1. A place is not penal to angel or soul as if affecting the nature by changing it, but as affecting the will by saddening it: because the angel or the soul apprehends that it is in a place not agreeable to its will.
Reply to Objection 2. One soul is not set over another in the order of nature, as the demons are over men in the order of nature; consequently there is no parallel.
Reply to Objection 3. Some have maintained that the pain of sense for demons and souls is postponed until the judgment day: and that the beatitude of the saints is likewise postponed until the judgment day. But this is erroneous, and contrary to the teaching of the Apostle (2 Corinthians 5:1): "If our earthly house of this habitation be dissolved, we have a house in heaven." Others, again, while not admitting the same of souls, admit it as to demons. But it is better to say that the same judgment is passed upon wicked souls and wicked angels, even as on good souls and good angels.
Consequently, it must be said that, although a heavenly place belongs to the glory of the angels, yet their glory is not lessened by their coming to us, for they consider that place to be their own; in the same way as we say that the bishop's honor is not lessened while he is not actually sitting on his throne. In like manner it must be said, that although the demons are not actually bound within the fire of hell while they are in this dark atmosphere, nevertheless their punishment is none the less; because they know that such confinement is their due. Hence it is said in a gloss upon James 3:6: "They carry fire of hell with them wherever they go." Nor is this contrary to what is said (Luke 8:31), "They besought the Lord not to cast them into the abyss"; for they asked for this, deeming it to be a punishment for them to be cast out of a place where they could injure men. Hence it is stated, "They [Vulg. 'He'] besought Him that He would not expel them [Vulg. 'him'] out of the country" (Mark 5:10).

Captain Patrick Ford Of American Eagle (Envoy) Flight 3556 DIES SUDDENLY AFTER TAKEOFF from Chicago Airport En Route To Columbus, Ohio...
Pilot dies while plane takes off from Chicago
An Envoy Air pilot passed out while taking off from Chicago O’Hare International Airport and was later pronounced dead, officials said on Tuesday. The co-pilot took control of the plane and managed to land safely.
The incident involved Envoy Air Flight 3556, an Embraer E175 aircraft, which was scheduled to fly to Columbus, Ohio on Saturday night. The flight was flown for American Eagle, which – like Envoy Air – is part of American Airlines. “We need to return. Captain is incapacitated,” the co-pilot told air traffic control just seconds after taking off from Chicago’s international airport. The plane landed safely a short time later.
“Despite heroic efforts to revive him, Captain in training, Patrick Ford, passed away,” Ric Wilson, the Vice President of Flight Operations at Envoy Air, said in a message to fellow pilots. “We are deeply saddened by this loss.”
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating the incident. Aviation sources said Ford died of a heart attack, though officials were not able to confirm that.
“Sincere thanks to Line Check Airman, Captain Brandon Hendrickson, for his leadership and professionalism in the safe handling of his aircraft, passengers and crew,” Wilson said. Source

Two firefighters have died after a plane crashed into a fire truck while taking off at Peru's busiest airport.
The Latam Airlines plane collided with the truck just before 15:30 (20:30 GMT) on Friday at Jorge Chávez International Airport in the capital, Lima.
Video posted on social media shows the plane careering down the runway, catching fire and smoking as it ground to a halt.
No passengers or flight crew were killed, the airline said on Twitter.
A 31-year-old firefighter is in a critical condition, according to an executive director of the hospital agency EsSalud.
Peru's Health Ministry added that 20 passengers are being treated for injuries - two of them are believed to be serious.
It remains unclear why the fire truck entered the runway while the plane was taking off, bound for the southern Peruvian city of Juliaca.
During a news conference, Latam CEO Manuel Van Oordt said the flight had been cleared for take-off.
"We don't know why [the fire truck] was there," he said. "We didn't ask for their services." The prosecutors' office said it was investigating the incident as potential manslaughter, according to Reuters news agency.
Lima Airport Partners (LAP) - which operates Jorge Chávez Airport - has suspended flights until Saturday afternoon at the airport.
International flights due to land there have been diverted to Colombia, Panama and various Peruvian cities including Iquitos, Pisco, and Arequipa.
In a statement LAP added: "At this moment we are finding and investigating all the necessary factors that could determine the cause of this."
President Pedro Castillo paid tribute to the firefighters on social media.
"I express my heartfelt condolences to the relatives of Ángel Torres and Nicolás Santa Gadea, brave firefighters who died in the accident," he wrote on Twitter.
"My thoughts and my prayers are with them. I pray for the recovery of the wounded." Source

Air Force, FBI raid homes in probe of Area 51 website
Air Force, FBI raid homes in probe of Area 51 website
Agents from the U.S. Air Force and FBI recently raided homes in Clark and Lincoln counties in an investigation of a man who operates a website about the top-secret military base known as Area 51, a spokesman said Wednesday.
The Air Force Office of Special Investigations and FBI entered homes owned by Joerg Arnu in Las Vegas and the tiny town of Rachel on Nov. 3 and seized potential evidence for an undisclosed joint agency probe, according to Lt. Col. Bryon McGarry, spokesman for Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas.
“This is an open and ongoing law enforcement investigation between the Las Vegas FBI and Air Force OSI,” McGarry said in a statement.
He declined to elaborate on the basis for the investigation, but Arnu, of Las Vegas, is the webmaster of a site titled Dreamland Resort, focusing on Area 51, an Air Force base in Lincoln County about 120 miles northwest of Las Vegas where testing is conducted on new and classified U.S. military aircraft.
Dreamland Resort, at dreamlandresort.com, started by Arnu in 1999, features YouTube videos taken from drones flown over places around Area 51, satellite images of the base, a discussion forum with posts on the topic, articles on test flights, “black projects” and UFOs, and what it says are photos of new vehicles such as the so-called “super secret” Northrop Grumman RQ-180 unmanned stealth aircraft shown flying in 2021. Arnu, reached by email Wednesday, declined comment until he can speak to his attorney. But he forwarded a news release posted on his web page last week telling his side of the story.
“I believe the search, executed with completely unnecessary force by overzealous government agents was meant as a message to silence the Area 51 research community,” he said.Arnu said both his homes were raided “without warning” on Nov. 3 “by 15-20 agents in full riot gear.” The agents broke open the doors while Arnu was in the Rachel home and his girlfriend at the Las Vegas one, and then they “were detained and treated in the most disrespectful way.”
“My girlfriend was led out into the street barefoot and only in her underwear in full view of the neighbors,” he said. “I was led outside, handcuffed and only in a t-shirt and sweats in sub-freezing temperatures.” Source

British Airways goes gender-neutral: Male pilots and cabin crew told they can wear make-up and carry handbags regardless of gender and sexual identity
British Airways goes gender-neutral: Male pilots and cabin crew told they can wear make-up and carry handbags regardless of gender and sexual identity
British Airways will allow male pilots to wear make-up and carry handbags in an overhaul of the airliner's
strict uniform rules.
Airline bosses reportedly told staff in an internal memo yesterday 'be bold, be proud, be yourself' and said they hoped the refreshed guidance would be 'embraced by everyone regardless of gender, gender identity, ethnicity, background, culture, sexual identity, or otherwise'.
BA was said to be nearing the end of a review of its longstanding uniform policy after rival Virgin Atlantic announced it was making its traditional male and female uniform gender-neutral. Its uniform guidelines have traditionally been divided by gender, but recently it has tried to modernise its image and last year dropped 'ladies and gentlemen' in announcements in a bid to make 'all customers feel welcome'.
Male pilots and cabin crew at BA have been told they can wear a 'touch of mascara and lip colour' and false eyelashes, and paint their nails. Strict rules on hairstyles have also been eased - meaning men may now wear 'man buns' - and all staff may now wear a handbag, regardless of their sex or gender identity.
But the airliner will still keep its ban on visible tattoos, and will retain female gender-specific uniforms.
A BA spokesperson told MailOnline: 'We are proud of all of our colleagues at British Airways and we are committed to an inclusive working environment.
'We have worked with our people to create updated guidelines for grooming, beauty and accessories, allowing our colleagues to bring the best, most authentic version of themselves to work every day.'
Virgin Atlantic updated its uniform policy to remove gendered clothing requirements in September. Source

Richard Branson must face lawsuit in U.S. over Virgin Galactic space travel problems
Richard Branson must face lawsuit in U.S. over Virgin Galactic space travel problems
NEW YORK (Reuters) - A U.S. judge on Monday said British billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson must face shareholder claims he concealed problems in Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc's spaceship program, and sold hundreds of millions of dollars of stock at inflated prices.
While dismissing most claims in the proposed class action, U.S. District Judge Allyne Ross in Brooklyn said shareholders could try to prove that Virgin and Branson defrauded them into overpaying for the space tourism company's shares, which now trade more than 90% below their February 2021 peak.
Shareholders can sue over July 2019 statements that Virgin had made "great progress" overcoming "hurdles" to commercial spaceflight, despite a near-disastrous test flight five months earlier when its rocket plane Unity suffered critical damage.Branson must also defend his July 2021 statement that his own just-completed flight on Unity, where he soared 50 miles (80.47 km) above the earth, had been "flawless" though Unity had strayed from its assigned airspace.
In a 55-page decision, Ross said shareholders also could sue over approximately $301 million of stock that Branson sold the month after the flight.
Lawyers for Virgin and Branson did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
In seeking a dismissal, they said there was no proof of intent to defraud, and that the defendants had thoroughly disclosed safety and design issues in developing commercial space travel, "unquestionably a high-risk proposition."
Laurence Rosen, a lawyer for the shareholders, declined to comment.
Virgin is based in Tustin, California, and went public in October 2019 by merging with a special purpose acquisition vehicle, Social Capital. The lawsuit covers shareholders who owned the stock of either from July 10, 2019, to Oct. 14, 2021, when Virgin grounded Unity and delayed its commercial space travel service. Its shares fell 16.8% the next day, to $20.01.
Branson, 72, is worth $3.7 billion, according to Forbes magazine.
In Monday afternoon trading, Virgin shares were up 5 cents at $4.97.

Meteor Direct Hit On Man's Rural California Home - Killing One Of His Dogs
'I heard this big bang!' Meteor in direct hit on man's rural California home - killing one of his dogs and completely destroying the property in ONE-IN-FOUR-TRILLION freak event
A Northern California man said he believes a meteor fell from the night sky and landed on his property, destroying his home in a massive fire.
Officials are looking into the possibility that the bright flaming ball - that was spotted by several people across the region - was a meteorite that caused the fire in Nevada County on Friday night.
Dustin Procita told KCRA that he was inside the house with his two dogs when something hit the house and started the fire. 'I heard a big bang,' he said. 'I started to smell smoke. I went onto my porch and it was completely engulfed in flames.'
Multiple people all over the region captured the bright ball of fire on camera as it lit up the dark California sky around 7:30 p.m. on Friday night.
The odds of being hit by a meteor - one in four trillion - are considerably less likely than the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot - which is one in 292.2 million. The current Powerball jackpot sits at a whopping $1.9 billion with the next drawing set for Monday.
NASA and the US Air Force will now be contacted as the local fire department investigates if the blaze was caused by a meteor crashing down to earth. One homeowner caught the ball of light on a Ring camera in Redding, California. The footage shows the bright fireball flash in the sky before descending to the ground in the distance.
Several other people caught the fireball on camera as it fell to the earth, seemingly in the middle of nowhere.
Procita said he wasn't sure at first what it was, but after hearing about the fireball lighting up the night sky at the same time, he believes it was a meteor that landed right on his house. Source

Plane Crash Kills 19: Aircraft Carrying 43 People Plunges Into Lake Victoria In Tanzania
Plane crash kills 19: Aircraft carrying 43 people plunges into Lake Victoria in Tanzania 100 yards short of airport where it was due to land
A plane crash has killed 19 people after the aircraft, carrying 43 people, plunged into Lake Victoria in Tanzania after it was affected by bad weather- 100 yards short of the airport where it was due to land.
Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa gave the new death toll, up from the three whose bodies were earlier recovered from the scene.
While the two pilots earlier spoke to local officials from the cockpit, according to the BBC, the prime minister has said they may have died since then.Precision Air flight PW 494 was scheduled to fly from Dar es Salaam to Bukoba airport carrying 39 passengers, two pilots and two cabin crew when it plunged into the water at around 8.30am local time (5.30 GMT).
Regional commissioner Albert Chalamila earlier said that 26 people were rescued and taken to hospital. It was not clear if any of those who were rescued died at the hospital.
Using ropes, emergency workers have managed to get the plane closer to shore and moved some of the plane's body out of the water.
Kagera province police commander William Mwampaghale told journalists: 'We have managed to save quite a number of people.
'When the aircraft was about 328 feet midair, it encountered problems and bad weather. It was raining and the plane plunged into the water.'
He told journalists that rescue efforts were continuing at the scene. The airport is closed until further notice and authorities will conduct an investigation into the crash.Speaking to the BBC, Abdul Nuri said he was at the airport waiting for the return flight to Dar es Salaam when he saw the crash.
He said: 'We were really shocked. People panicked and some started crying and shouting.
'At the arrivals gate people panicked as well - most of them were waiting to welcome their relatives.'
Mr Nuri spoke to the fishermen who were the first people to wade into the water to help rescue the passengers.
The rescue could begin because a flight attendant opened the rear door while the plane was in the water so fishermen could get into the plane and help people to escape.
Footage online posted online earlier in the day showed rescuers, including fishermen, wading through water to bring people to safety.
Emergency services using ropes to attempt to lift the aircraft out of the water were assisted by cranes and local residents. Source

South Korea scrambles fighter jets after detecting 180 North Korean warplanes, military says
Seoul,
South Korea
CNN
—
South Korea scrambled about 80 fighter jets after detecting a large number of North Korean warplanes during a four-hour period Friday, the country’s military said, in a further escalation of regional tensions.
In a statement, the South Korean military said it spotted about 180 North Korean military aircraft between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time, a day after Pyongyang is believed to have conducted the failed test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
Tensions in the Korean Peninsula began rising Monday, when the “Vigilant Storm” joint military drills began between the United States and South Korea, involving hundreds of aircraft and thousands of service members from both countries, according to the US.North Korea accused the allies of provocative action and on Wednesday launched 23 missiles from its east and west coasts – the most missiles it’s fired in a single day – into waters either side of the peninsula, prompting Seoul to respond with three surface-to-air missiles.Friday’s South Korean deployment included an unspecified number of F-35A stealth fighter jets, the statement said, and the South Korean warplanes participating in the ongoing joint maneuvers had also “maintained a readiness posture,” the South Korean military said.
After Thursday’s suspected ICBM test, the US and South Korea announced they’d extend the drills for an extra day until November 5, a move denounced by a North Korean official as a “very dangerous and false choice,” according to state media.
Later, after meeting with his South Korean counterpart at the Pentagon, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin accused North Korea of “irresponsible and reckless activities.”
“We’ve said before these kinds of activities are destabilizing to the region potentially. So we call on them to cease that type of activity and to begin to engage in serious dialogue,” Austin said.
A United Nations Security Council meeting is expected to take place on Friday to discuss Pyongyang’s recent missile launches. According to a spokesperson for the US Mission to the UN, the US, UK, France, Albania, Ireland and Norway had called for an open meeting.
In an interview on CNN on Wednesday, US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield condemned North Korea’s actions, saying Pyongyang had broken multiple Security Council resolutions.
Thomas-Greenfield said the UN would be “putting pressure” on China and Russia to improve and enhance such sanctions. She declined to say whether US President Joe Biden would raise sanctions with China’s President Xi at the G20 but said it was “on the President’s mind.” Source

Twelfth Fall Explosion: Lightning Strikes Airbus Beluga Over Deeside As 'Explosion' Heard
Shocking moment lightning strikes Airbus Beluga over Deeside as 'explosion' heard
This shocking image shows a plane being struck by lightning as it flew over Deeside. The Airbus Beluga XL5 was hit by a bolt of lightning soon after departing Hawarden Airport in Flintshire just after 1pm today (Tuesday).
The aircraft was on route to Hamburg and had only been in the air for a short period of time before being struck. The flight continued as normal, and landed safely in the German city shortly after 2.30pm, North Wales Live reports.
Following the strike, which was caught on dashcam, dozens of people reported hearing a huge "explosion" sound, and a bright white flash. People reported power cuts and the loss of TV signal following the reports of lightning. Airbus confirmed the strike and said the aircraft will be thoroughly checked ahead of its next take off. A spokesperson for Airbus UK said: "At 1pm today, Beluga XL5 departing Hawarden Airport was struck by lightning.
"This is a routine event in aviation and the aircraft continued with its journey to Hamburg as planned. In accordance with standard operating procedure, the aircraft will be inspected before its next flight."
Residents of Connah's Quay took to social media to report hearing a huge bang and flash of lightning earlier today. They reported power cuts, with fire crews also seen heading to the area.
SP Energy Networks said they were aware of a fault in the Connah's Quay area, adding that there was not currently an estimated time for power to be restored. A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service added: "Two crews were called at 1.12pm to Breeze Hill, Connah’s Quay. Source
