This took place in the Bahamas so no worries....
By Arthia Nixon Police in The Bahamas are said to have in custody, a man who allegedly created a pilot’s badge after to fake his way into a cockpit. It is alleged that officers in The Bahamas had been tipped off about the man who was never issued a pilot’s license but claimed to be a captain. Some are comparing are outraged, saying the man could have put many lives at stake in what they are calling another Catch Me If You Can. That film was based on the true story Frank Abagnale, Jr, who found his way into several cockpits posing as a pilot.
The man allegedly listed his name as Rajiv Rodriquez but is being identified as Giovanni Benjamin by social media users who came across his photo on a local aviation page. It is said that the man was responsible for a Bahamian pilot being suspended by authorities during a ramp check after he failed to produce an ID or pilot license.
“They got him,” wrote a Facebook user by the name of Shaquille McIntosh who said the man also used his identification number on the fake badge. “I just came from CDU (Central Detective Unit) yesterday. He caused me and others a lot of heartache.”
If Obama gets wind of this Rajiv Rodriquez might be invited to the White House....“This guy was the same guy with a girl name Catalina who was running a scam a few years back saying a new airline was opening and they had a job fair at a hotel seemingly about to hire some people,” claimed another person when the photo began circulating in The Bahamas. “But you had to pay monies for training uniforms etc. The call back meeting was supposed to be held at the hotel, but we ended up at Montague Beach. One news crew was out there trying to get to the bottom of it because someone called them saying these people was charging anywhere from $700.00 to $1500.00 for the training but you had to book your own flights and boarding. Pure messes I say. They need to catch the girl too.” Aviation Figure.com Read More>>>>
