Ex-astronaut charged with murder after 'killing two girls, 11 and 13, in possible drunk-driving car crash in Alabama'
An ex-astronaut was charged with murder Monday after an early morning car crash that killed two girls in Alabama.
James Halsell Jr., 59, of Huntsville, was arrested after the early morning collision on U.S. 82, which killed half-sisters Niomi Deona James, 11, and Jayla Latrick Parler, 13, of Brent.
Troopers said a Chrysler 300 driven by Halsell - who may have been under the influence - collided with a Ford Fiesta in which the girls were passengers. The girls - who weren't wearing seatbelts - were ejected from the vehicle and died. Daily Mail Read More>>>>>>
