Six hospitalized as plane makes emergency landing in Orlando because of smoke in the cockpit 

Six people were hospitalized after a plane had to make an emergency landing at the Orlando International Airport on Friday. A Spirit Airlines flight landed safely after it was reported that there was smoke in the cockpit. Seven people requested medical attention but only six were taken to the hospital, a spokeswoman told the Orlando Sentinel. The six people who were taken to the hospital were crew members who said they felt nauseous and had trouble breathing, the Sentinel reported. Airport officials said the flight from Orlando to Labrobe, Pennsylvania, left at 4pm but returned shortly after 5pm because of the smoke.
