Aer Lingus flight #EI145 diverted to Shannon after fire indication on engine #2. The Aer Lingus Airbus A330-200 departed runway 28 from Dublin and reported a fire indication. The crew decided to shut down the engine #2. The plane took off at 15:41 UTC and headed to Shannon before holding during 15 mins to burn fuel before landing. The Airbus (reg. EI-LAX) requested fire services and landed at16:45 UTC. It stopped on the runway for inspection. Smoke was reported by tower on approach. Source
