Allegiant Air pilot suffers a SEIZURE midflight forcing an emergency landing in Gainesville with 155 passengers on board
An Allegiant Airline flight was forced to make an emergency landing after the pilot suffered a seizure midflight.
Allegiant Air Flight 1304 left from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport just before 7am and was headed to Punta Gorda, Florida, Thursday.
However, the airplane diverted and landed at Gainseville Regional Airport around 8.30am after the unidentified pilot suffered a seizure.
Allegiant said in a statement that the 'crew acted quickly' to divert and land the plane to Gainseville, Florida, where the pilot received immediate medical assistance. Source
