Security breach at Lyon Airport, a car chase on runway (video)
A white car is seen careening across the dirt and onto the runway before the fugitive throws himself from the vehicle and starts running.
Lyon Airport, France is closed until at least 18:00 local time. All flights are diverting to Marseille. The individual was driving a white car on the Highway A43 towards the airport when he drove into security barriers on the highway.
Police began to chase him as he drove past the security barriers towards Lyon airport, onto the runway of Terminal 1.
