Three people are killed and 24 injured after glacier tour bus plunges down a hill and rolls over several times at Canada's Jasper National Park

Three people have been killed and 24 others injured after a glacier tour bus rolled over in Canada's southern province of Alberta. The sightseeing bus was climbing up a steep, rocky road to the Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park on Saturday when it suddenly plunged 50 meters (about 164 feet) down an embankment and overturned, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Alberta Health Services said 14 of the 27 passengers were hospitalized with life-threatening head or pelvis injuries, five were in serious condition with broken bones and five others suffered minor injuries. Train derails, causing fire and partial Tempe Town Lake bridge collapse

TEMPE, AZ — A train fire and derailment Wednesday morning caused a partial collapse of a railroad bridge over Tempe Town Lake. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. Wednesday on the south side of the lake near Mill Avenue. A spokesperson with Tempe Fire Department says the incident involves a Union Pacific train. Flames could be seen running across the length of the bridge and in an area of Tempe Beach Park. About 90 firefighters from multiple departments were called to the scene of the second-alarm hazardous materials response. Officials say firefighters have been facing difficulties fighting the blaze because of heat, possible unknown hazardous materials, the collapsed bridge and placement on both sides of the lake. At least 14 people are dead - including both pilots - after an Air India Express plane flying from Dubai to Calicut with 191 passengers onboard skidded on runway and crashed into a valley. The two pilots tried to land in heavy rain after already aborting their first attempt and circling over the airport at its destination for 20 minutes. The plane overshot the runway and skidded into a 30ft-deep valley at Calicut airport, in the Indian State of Kerala, at around 7.45pm (2.45pm GMT) today. Images circulating on social media show an aircraft ruptured into two parts laying in a valley. Four passengers are thought to be trapped in the wreckage. According to police reports, both pilots and 12 other individuals were killed in the disaster. Another 123 people were injured in the crash. Source
